Pumas 3 Coney Hall 1
On Sunday we played an away match against Coney Hall. This was definitely a game of two halves. In the first half great team work and energy gave us two early goals scored by Sam and followed quickly by Tom who then did a victory somersault. Strong defence by Nick and Aaron kept Coney Hall at bay.
Jack, once again, displayed exceptional goal-keeping skills, whilst Joe kept up the pressure resulting in the third goal for the Pumas.
Coney Hall fought back in the second half and despite spirited defence managed to get one in the back of the net.
George displayed his usual great runs to keep on top of the ball whilst Christopher and Max worked hard in defence and midfield.
Nick was nominated Man of the Match for his excellent contribution to the game.
