MATCH REPORTSThis was sure to be a very exciting game, the boys were well and truly up for their first league game of the season,beating Barnetwood 4-1 in a friendly on 4th september,also coming 3rd at the Chipstead tournament.The boys arrive to start their pre match warm up and have a chat with the management team. 10AM comes and we kick offwith ryan hitting the crossbar in the first 4 minutes,some great passing by all when liam shoots,yes glebes first goal inside 10 minutes.With Elmstead gaining control of the ball but not for long when ben crosses it into the box for Elmstead to score an own goal, 2-0 to Glebe.With Glebe having control of the ball most of the time comes a lovely goal from philip,3-0 to Glebe.With half time nearly upon us Elmstead score, making it 3-1 at half time.With some subs made we go again. Ryan and kane take the ball down both wings ,with a lovely cross from ryan comes another goal from philip 4-1,Elmstead come back with another goal making it 4-2 to Glebe. The pumas reshape, with some great defending from tyler and james, Glebe keep control of the ball for philip to score again making it a hat trick, 5-2 to Glebe.Elmstead come back with a blast of a goal making it 5-3.With not long to go we change the team up for the last time, with some great saves, tackling and hard work from aaron, dion, jack1 and jack2. Ryan crosses a lovely ball that liam picks up and shoots,6-3 to Glebe, with only a couple of minutes left liam gains the ball again with a quick shot on goal,its in 7-3 to Glebe,with liam gettinga hat trick,the whistle blows, its all over, a great victory for all the boys. Man of the match ; RYAN
